Google Chrome issue – SameSite policy

Google Chrome issue – SameSite policy

XTM Cloud users working in the Google Chrome browser might experience issues with:

  • opening XTM Workbench for subcontracted projects,

  • switching between accounts in the TM and Terminology management tabs,

  • opening XTM Cloud pages inside external systems.

This is caused by a recent update to Chrome's cookies policy (known as SameSite). To work around this issue, switch to Chrome's previous behavior by following these steps:

  1. Go to chrome://flags/#same-site-by-default-cookies → SameSite by default cookies;

  2. Choose Disabled;

  3. Relaunch the browser.
