Configure dashboard widgets

Configure the Filtered Records Widget

Use this widget to display a number of specific items, for example, a number of potential clients you want to keep in contact with.

  1. Give this widget a title.

  2. Select scope from the drop-down menu.

  3. Select the view to get the number of entities listed in it. At the bottom of the widget card, you can see its preview.
    In the Choose an existing view drop-down list, you can see only the views that are shared with your user group. However, you can add a custom view in every scope. To learn how to do this, see the https://xtm-cloud.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XKB/pages/3378413681 guide.

  4. Click the Apply button.

  5. The widget is now visible on your dashboard. Click the icon to edit or the icon to delete it.

  6. Click the Save Changes button.


Configure the Smart View Widget

Use this widget to have a quick look at the different views you have in your Home Portal.

  1. Give this widget a title.

  2. Select scope from the drop-down menu.

  3. Select the view that you want to be displayed on the dashboard. At the bottom of the widget card, you can see its preview.

  4. Click the Apply button.

  5. The widget is now visible on your dashboard. Click the icon to edit or the icon to delete it.

  6. Click the Save Changes button.


Configure the Total Sum Widget

Use this widget to display the total values of a chosen column, for example, the sum of all unpaid client invoices.

  1. Give this widget a title.

  2. Select scope from the drop-down menu.

  3. Select the view with the column in question.

  4. Select the column. At the bottom of the widget card, you can see its preview.

  5. Click the Apply button.

  6. The widget is now visible on your dashboard. Click the icon to edit or the icon to delete it.

  7. Click the Save Changes button.


Configure the Website Embedder Widget

Use this widget to display the content of useful websites or pages.

Due to security issues, only the URLs with the ‘https://’ prefix can be displayed.

Some websites cannot be embedded. This depends entirely on the embedded website and cannot be changed by XTRF. Please consult the website owner to allow frame embedding.

  1. Give this widget a title.

  2. Provide the URL of the desired website.

  3. Click the Apply button.

  4. The widget is now visible on your dashboard. Click the icon to edit or the icon to delete it.

  5. Click the Save Changes button.
