An uninvited vendor has registered on our Vendor Portal; how did this happen?

XTRF Vendor Portal has an optional Register feature that allows vendors to register to your Vendor Portal without invitation.

If an uninvited vendor has registered to your Vendor Portal, that means this feature is activated. Therefore, anyone who knows the address of your Vendor Portal can create a vendor account.

To deactivate this feature, please contact your Regional Growth Manager or our Help Desk.

If you decide to keep this feature activated, you can set the default status for vendors that register by themselves. To do so, go to the Configuration menu → Portals → Vendor Portal → Recruitment Settings section → Set default vendor status after registration process drop-down list, and select the desired status.
