Adding the Magento Connector to Locale
In order to add the Magento connector to your Locale instance, you will need the URL of your Magento instance and an API Access Token.
Start by accessing your Locale instance with your username and password. Once logged into Locale (instructions on that can be found here: Locale: Accessing your Locale instance), you will see a Dashboard which looks something like this image below.
Select the Add Project button and you will be presented with the Locale App Store.
Select the e-Commerce option in the menu filter to the left, and select the Create Project button under Magento in the first row.
The next step will require you to enter the URL and Access Token of your Magento instance. Copy and paste the URL of your store (without trailing slashes) and the Access Token info.
To find the Access Token information, see our article on Locale: Technical – Creating a Magento Access Token.
And that is it, next you will select the languages for your project and continue with creating your Magento translation project in Locale.
Creating a Locale project with the Magento Connector
Once you have followed the steps above to configure the Magento connector, you are ready to create a project.
Start by entering the source and target languages for your instance and selecting Add Project.
Make sure to use the correct Language variants when creating your project.
Locale will automatically calculate the number of words which need to be translated for your project.
Your content can then be pushed for translation.
And show the status In Progress.
Once the translation step has been completed, the status will update to Complete in Locale.
And the content will be delivered into your Magento instance.
