Locale: Adding another repository

Introduction

It is possible to give Locale access to more than one of your GitHub content repositories, though we do advise, for security reasons, to limit the number of repositories where Locale can access. Especially to only those repositories where translations are needed.

The steps for adding a new repository are quite similar to the steps of Locale: Creating a GitHub project for translation in Locale but differ slightly as seen below.

Adding another GitHub content repository

  1. Start by logging into your Locale workspace, and selecting the “Add Project” button.

  1. For the connector, select GitHub from the top menu bar where you should see a “Create Project” button.

NOTE: If you see a “Connect” button instead of a "Create Project" button like shown above, you will need to first configure the GitHub connector. More information on that can be found in the article Locale: Adding the GitHub Connector to your workspace.

  1. Below the repository dropdown, select the “Your repo not showing?” Configure Access” button.

  1. This will bring you to the configuration page for your GitHub instance, where you can choose the additional repository you would like to connect.

  1. Next, you will be brought back to Locale where the same steps as Locale: Creating a GitHub project for translation in Locale will apply.
