Before starting the localization of your content, it is important to ensure that the correct and necessary languages are enabled in your Yext instance. To do this, take a look at the steps below:

1. Start by accessing your Yext instance with your admin username and password.

2. Navigate to the Content tab, and select all of the entities which should be localized into the necessary language using the checkbox at the top of the screen.

3. Select the More Actions menu option and choose Edit.

4. The next page will present the option to make bulk edits to your content entities. Use the Languages menu on the right side, and select the +Add Language button. A dialogue box will appear where you can choose the language you would like to add to your instance, and click the Add button.

5. Once you have added the language(s) needed for your projects, they will also appear in your existing entities with name and description fields appearing as blank. You’re now ready to Add the Yext Connector to your Locale instance or Create a Locale project with the Yext Connector.
