New or improved functionalities

  • With XTM Connect - AEM it is now possible to send assets to translation even if they are in a format which is not natively supported in XTM Cloud. Project managers will then be able to process these assets, providing that the AEM configuration points to an XTM Cloud project template which includes a workflow for non-analyzable files.

    • Note: if the appropriate project template is not defined in XTM Cloud, the AEM assets will remain in an Error state, which may prevent the entire AEM translation job from progressing to Translated or Approved state.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed handling of empty files sent to translation

    • AEM always generates a separate file for tag translation, which is empty if the translated content does not need any tag translations

    • This file was not properly handled and prevented the job’s translation status from progressing

Known issues

  • Unable to set due date on AEM translation job due to Coral UI bug - this bug has already been fixed as of AEM 6.5 Service Pack 9

  • AEM Translation Jobs occasionally get stuck if users click Request Scope and immediately click Start on the same Job

    • Note: Requesting scope before starting a translation job is not mandatory. When using this functionality, it is necessary to wait at least 30 seconds before starting the job, and preferably wait until the scope is available in AEM
