XTM Cloud offers a straightforward way to set up email notifications reminding Linguists about impending deadlines for your XTM projects, directly in the UI, without the need for you to raise a JSM issue to the XTM International Support team and ask for notification setup on your instance back-end.

1. In XTM Cloud, go to Configuration → Settings → Projects → Due dates (administrative privileges required!).

2. There are three options connected to the “deadline” email notifications:

• Send due dates emails to → Choose who will receive emails notifying them of their upcoming or part-project due date.

• Send due dates emails at → Decide the time at which you want due dates email notifications to be sent out. Emails can be set to be sent out many times a day.

• Include projects that are due to expire in the next X days → Decide which XTM Cloud projects you want to include in the due dates email, depending on how soon they will expire. The maximum number of days ahead that you can select is 5.

3. Do not forget to save your changes.

4. An appropriate email notification will be sent to the selected Linguists, informing them about the impending deadline of a particular XTM Cloud project, once the setup conditions have been met.

Very often you come with a request that you would like to see a Workflow due date in your XTM email notifications (Project Editor → General info → General info). Currently, XTM email notifications only display project Delivery due date.

Unfortunately, there is no possibility to include Workflow due dates in XTM email notifications in the near future.
