XTRF supports Trados Studio 2022

The Trados Studio 2021 version is not supported anymore.

Important changes:

  • The Language Weaver Cloud plugin is no longer supported.

  • The Google plugin v2 replaces the MT Enhanced Trados Plugin by Google.

  • To apply the MT translation, you need to select the Apply automated translation option in the Task display > CAT Tools tab > Project Creation subtab > Pre-translate Files section > When no match found section.

New version of Trados Agent is available

To start using the updated integration, please download here and install the new Trados Agent v. 7.4.1.1.

Customizations – Custom fields

The Invalid Scope error message was displayed in projects and quotes.

Improved behavior of custom fields with "Task/Language" scope in Smart quotes and projects.

Integrations – CAT – Trados Studio

Termbases for country-specific languages could not be uploaded after the Trados Agent upgrade.

The ability to define languages in an imported Trados Termbase file was introduced. Termbases are now uploaded correctly.

Classic projects and quotes

Automatic quote conversion into a project failed for Trados-integrated quotes with multiple tasks.

Quotes are successfully converted thanks to the added ability to start many tasks simultaneously within a Classic project integrated with Trados.
