Introduction

A great deal of issues reported by clients is related to Workbench; for instance, the window will not open up or the whole session is slow. Whatever the cause, the most crucial thing for the XTM support team as a starting point when dealing with such cases is Workbench URL (Workbench ID). This ID is unique for every single opening of a Workbench session. If one closes the Workbench window and opens it anew, the Workbench ID will be different.


Guidelines

In order to obtain Workbench ID, open up Workbench for a certain file and you will find Workbench URL at the top of the page in the URL field:

The part the XTM support is interested in is the one marked red, as shown below:

Copy either the ID or the whole URL and provide it to the XTM support team to expedite the resolution of the case.
