The storage quota for your onCloud instance depends on your XTRF plan. When you are about to reach the maximum allowed storage limit, you will receive a notification prompting you to delete some files or increase your storage quota.
You can access your XTRF folders directly using SFTP. The SFTP protocol allows you to access your XTRF project files in the following directory: /home/YOUR-COMPANY-NAME/xtrf/.
SFTP access serves your archiving and backup needs. It should not be used for daily operations and day-to-day project management.
II. Archive your projects
Archiving projects allows you to save space and prepare project files to be moved elsewhere.
After you archive a project, its meta-data remains searchable and accessible, and project files are zipped into one password-protected file. The zipped file is moved to a new disk location, which by default is /xtrf_archive.
Classic projects can be dearchived. Archiving Smart projects is permanent.
You can automate archiving projects and quotes, so this action does not require your attention. For details, see the guide.
III. Move the archived files to another location
The archive folder can take up lots of space from the available storage. To free up the space for your current projects, regularly move the archived files to another location via the granted SFTP access.
