Introduction

By default, every translation entered in the target segment in XTM Workbench is immediately saved in the form of a TM record in the XTM Cloud UI as Not approved. This also includes segments that have not been confirmed (ticked green) in the editor.

There are multiple ways in which TM entries can be approved in XTM Cloud:

• in a step that has the Approve TM option enabled;

• In the Approve TMauto-step (each job has its own auto-step, so the TM will be approved per file once it goes through that particular workflow step);

• manually in the TM module in the XTM Cloud UI;

• using the Approve TM option in the context menu either in project listing or the workflow tab of the project editor;

• using the Approve TM option in the Actions tab.

This article provides a short troubleshooting guide to what to do when the Approve TM option in a particular project’s workflow step has not worked, for whatever reason, in XTM Cloud.
