Why field values in edit mode differ from values in view mode?

If you use high-precision values in payable- and receivable-related fields (such as Rate or Quantity), these values are stored in the system with a precision of up to 10 decimal places. All system calculations are performed using these precise values.

However, in view mode, to maintain a clean and user-friendly interface, these values are rounded according to the preferred format configured for your XTRF instance in the Configuration menu → General Configuration → Settings → Number and Date Formatting tab (for details, see https://help.xtm.ai/xtrf/home-portal/configuration-menu/en/number-and-date-formatting-tab.html.

For this reason, when you view the project or quote finances, the relevant rounded values are displayed. When you edit a payable or receivable, the system displays the correct values used in all calculations.
