BigQuery integration
Introduction
XTRF Smart views can be integrated with the Google BigQuery data platform. BigQuery can be used to manage and analyze your business data, as well as access various BI software available on the market.
This integration is only possible for XTRF instances that are accessible from the internet.
XTRF is not responsible for the connection between BigQuery and third-party software.
Configure the integration
The support account must be active during the integration setup. To check or change the support account status, go to the Configuration menu > User Management > Users and locate the XTRF Support user.
To connect your XTRF instance to a BigQuery account, perform the following steps:
Select which Smart views you want to share with BigQuery.
Open the following link to access the configuration page: XTRF BigQuery Configuration.
Paste the URL of the selected view into the Smart View URL field.
Generate an access token for this integration (for details, see the Generate an access token for the Home Portal API guide).
On the configuration page, paste the generated token into the XTRF API Key field.
In the GMail/GSuite email address field, enter the e-mail of the person who should get admin access to the data source.
Click the Submit button.
(Optional) Repeat steps 2-7 for each additional Smart view you want to share with BigQuery.
