How to access logs in on-premise XTRF?

Log files are essential for troubleshooting and diagnosing issues. They provide critical insights into what might have caused a problem.

You may be requested to provide log files during investigations, so keeping these logs accessible is important for efficient troubleshooting.

Depending on your XTRF server operating system (OS), the required log files (jboss.log* and gc.log*) are located in the following server directories:

  • On Linux: in the /usr/local/jboss-xtrf/log/ directory.

  • On Windows: in the jboss-xtrf\log directory.

 

There might be older versions of log files, such as gc-2023-11-06_18-15-19.log, which contain valuable information from previous system crashes or issues.
