Git: How to resolve the issue with the 'Select files for translation' option disappearing from the bucket's context menu

Introduction

You might be experiencing an issue that the Select files for translation option disappeared from the bucket’s context menu in the XTM Cloud UI.

Root cause & Solution

The root cause of the issue is quite difficult to identify. The Select files for translation option is only available for buckets whose tasks are created manually. However, this tab sometimes seems to be absent even when this option was configured properly.

To avert the problem, take the following steps:

  1. In the XTM Cloud UI, open the bucket’s configuration.

  2. Select manual creation and save the settings again, which resolves this issue.
