Contentful: How to resolve the issue with XTM Connect widget not appearing in Contentful

Introduction

You might sometimes encounter an issue that the Xtm connect widget is missing on the right-hand side of the Contentful UI, after you have logged in to the CMS.

Solution

The simplest solution to this problem is:

  • clearing your browser’s cache (see Clear your web browser's cache, cookies, and history for help), OR

  • accessing XTM Cloud in private (Incognito) mode (see How to turn on Incognito Mode for help).
