Project Management

Multifile View: Project Managers can now create projects leveraging the Multifile View functionality. In Multifile View mode, Linguists can see multiple files in a single XTM Workbench window, one after another. This makes it easier for them to keep translations consistent throughout all files within a project.

Public Beta

New Workflow Editor:

• As a Project Manager, you can now finish or reopen a single job, many selected jobs, or all jobs in a selected target language. With the intuitive, modern design and bulk change options, you can automate your work even more and achieve faster turnaround times.

• The “require acceptance of task” feature is now supported in the New Workflow Editor. LSPs can accept or reject a project directly in the New Workflow Editor UI. In the Manage jobs view, a Contractor's Project Managers see whether a project has been accepted by an LSP or not.

• Users with the Limited Project Manager role now have access to the New Workflow Editor.

AI words

• Clients running the new ​Enterprise​ ​ subscription receive a free monthly allowance of ​100,000​ AI words​​ per ​XTM Cloud​ instance. Clients running the new ​Business​ subscription receive a free monthly allowance of ​50,000 ​AI words​​ per ​XTM Cloud​ instance. These words can be used for one or more of these AI-driven features: AI Translate & TQI, AI Post-Edit and the new TQI.

• As a Project Manager, you can now track AI Words consumption in real time in the XTM Cloud user interface.

TQI

• TQI is now a separate feature in XTM Cloud. This gives you much more flexibility in using the AI Translate & TQI feature: you can use it together with the scoring component (as usual) or decide to only use it for LLM-generated translations.

• We are also finalizing work on using TQI for scoring translations coming from any source: translation memory (TM), machine translations (MT), or created by Linguists.

XTM Cloud Administration

Navigation in the Configuration >Settings screen has now become much easier thanks to the search option. You no longer need to remember where a setting is located. Start typing the setting name, select the required setting from the list, and let us take you to the selected setting immediately.

XTM API

We’ve introduced several REST API improvements to provide you with better project management capabilities.

• The GET /style-guides API method returns a list of all Style Guides available in XTM Cloud.

The create project method in the REST API has been extended with the addition of these settings:

• translationMemory.useNonApprovedTm – enable the use of Unapproved TM.

• matchingOptions.allowEditingOfIceMatches – enable the editing of ICE matches.

• autoDoneWorkflowOptions.leveragedSegments – set leveraged segments to Completed automatically.

• autoDoneWorkflowOptions.nonTranslatableSegments – set non-translatable segments to Completed automatically.

• autoDoneWorkflowOptions.nonApprovedLeveragedSegments – set Unapproved exact matches to Completed automatically.

• autoDoneWorkflowOptions.nonApprovedICEMatches– set Unapproved ICE matches to Completed automatically.

• fuzzySearch, fuzzyC1Visibility, fuzzyC2Visibility, fuzzyC3Visibility– set the visibility of fuzzy matches.

• nonAnalyzableFilesWorkflowId– set the workflow for non-analyzable files.

• autoWorkflowFinishOption – finish a workflow automatically

• sendEmailOption– specify whether mail should be sent upon project creation.
