Style Guides in XTM AI Translate & TQI

As a Project Manager, you now get much more control over the output of your LLM-generated translations. You will be now able to define project and language-specific style rules. Those will be leveraged by your LLMs in real time to provide translations that really resonate with your audience.

Updated LLM Support

XTM AI Translate & TQI as well as AI Post-Edit now support the latest GPT models 5 and 5.1.

More powerful DeepL integration

• We’ve introduced improved configuration options for the DeepL integration in XTM Cloud. This update is designed to boost translation quality by offering more flexible handling of inline tags, tailored to your account needs. A new version control feature ensures streamlined operations, while backend configuration allows for customized adjustments.

• The DeepL integration has been updated to comply with the latest list of languages supported by DeepL. Besides, the mapping of Chinese language variants has been improved for better consistency. Below is an overview of the XTM Cloud <> DeepL language mapping for Chinese.

Stopping and Restarting Project Analysis:

With the latest update in XTM Cloud 26.1, we've already enhanced your control over project analysis. As a Project Manager in XTM Cloud 26.2, you can now stop and restart the analysis process at your convenience, providing greater flexibility and autonomy in managing your project pipeline. Enjoy the empowerment of seamless self-serve capabilities!

XTM API

We’ve introduced several REST API improvements to provide you with better search and project management capabilities.

• The following API methods are working during project analysis when the request is targeting a job/file that is not currently in analysis:

  • GET /projects/{projectId}/files/download

  • GET /projects/{projectId}/metrics/bundles

  • GET /projects/{projectId}/metrics/jobs

  • POST /projects/{projectId}/files/generate

  • POST /projects/{projectId}/custom-fields

• The getProject method now returns the contractor project description when called by the LSP.

• The following improvements have been made to the getProjects and advanceSearch methods:

  • added customer id to response

  • added fetchType for jobs and bundles to parameters (JOBS, BUNDLES)

  • added job ids, bundle ids, from, to in the response for lower levels
