XTRF v. 10.6

XTRF v. 10.6

newest release

Date: Feb 11, 2026

TL;DR

  • Easy e-invoicing for countries that comply with the Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 standard.

  • 'Bulk change' for Smart jobs has gotten even better: you can now access it from project level and change job statuses and instructions, among other details.

  • Several improvements have been introduced for the Client Portal 2.0 and its configuration in the Home Portal.

  • Better management of bundle-linked jobs in the Smart XTM Cloud integration.

  • From XTRF v. 11, Client Portal 2.0 will be the default solution. Also, PostgreSQL versions below 15 and Windows Server will no longer be supported.

This release contains an important security fix. We highly recommend that you upgrade to this version.

New features

Support for Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 standard e-invoicing

XTRF's Invoicing module now offers automatic creation of XML invoice files that comply with the European Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 standard. When an invoice receives Ready status, an XML file is created alongside the invoice PDF. This file can be downloaded manually or via the API and uploaded to your local e-invoicing system. For details, see Configure the automatic creation of XML invoice files for Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 e-invoicing standard.

To create XML invoice files that comply with this e-invoicing standard, several new fields have been introduced in the Home Portal financial settings. To enable automatic XML creation, those fields must be filled out properly (for details, see the Enter the required data for e-invoicing section).

To enable this feature in your XTRF instance, please contact the XTRF Support team.

We strongly recommend that you test this feature before using it for actual invoicing to ensure it complies with your local e-invoicing mandates.

Project-level bulk change for Smart jobs

Smart project management has just become easier! You can now edit multiple jobs in a specific Smart Project via the Job actions menu, without having to search for the required jobs in the general list of jobs in the Jobs tab screen. For more information about bulk changes, see Change Smart job details in bulk.

The 'Bulk change' functionality for Smart jobs has been enhanced with new features. You can now change the status of multiple jobs and add or edit the PM's instructions to vendors. For details, see the Change Smart job details in bulk guide.

The Multiple change feature has been renamed Bulk change everywhere in the system.

Improved message about deleting jobs in Smart projects

No more guessing how many jobs will be deleted, when you want to delete jobs at Jobs, Process, or Process Designer level: a clear message listing all the affected jobs will be displayed.

Warnings & announcements

From XTRF v. 11.0 onwards:

Client Portal 2.0 will be the default solution

Last year, we introduced Client Portal 2.0 – a more robust and highly customizable solution with an improved interface. Starting from XTRF version 11.0, Client Portal 2.0 will become the default product for all customers, except those with specific custom adaptations. If you have any questions or unique requirements, please don’t hesitate to reach out to your Customer Success team for guidance.

For more information about Client Portal 2.0, see https://help.xtm.ai/xtrf/client-portal-2-0/index.html?lang=en.

For more information about Client Portal 2.0 configuration, see Client Portal 2.0 configuration guides.

End of Windows Server support

As previously announced, we will discontinue support for Windows Server starting from version 11. In future, we will only support Linux environments. We recommend that you plan any necessary transitions early to ensure a smooth experience.

Support for PostgreSQL versions below 15 will be deprecated

As XTRF already supports PostgreSQL 15, you are advised to upgrade the database before upgrading XTRF.

We strongly recommend that you plan your upgrade to PostgreSQL 17 to stay current and supported.

Please check the XTRF Change Log for relevant bug fixes and minor improvements included in XTRF version 10.6.
