  • For better system performance, a new limit of 200 tasks per project, 100 jobs per task, and 50 MB per e-mail attachment has been introduced.

This release contains an important security fix. We highly recommend that you upgrade to this version.

New features

Job merging in Smart projects

Have you ever wanted to undo job splitting or combine several jobs for the same vendor? With the new Merge option in the Job actions menu, you can create a new collective job from several individual jobs with just a few clicks.

You can only merge jobs that belong to the same step, have Open, Accepted or Started status, and have the same vendor, or no vendor, assigned.

Automatic e-invoice generation

This service can only be used in countries that support the Factur-X or ZUGFeRD standards.

To help you deal with compulsory e-invoicing, we have introduced a macro that automates e-invoice generation and processing in your (Smart and Classic) XTRF projects. It eliminates manual data entry, ensures compliance, and accelerates payment cycles by replacing a PDF invoice document with a Factur-X PDF invoice document. For details, see the https://xtm-cloud.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/XKB/pages/4173594692 guide.


CLOSED BETA features

Currently, only a few selected clients have been granted access to the features described in this section. Other clients cannot request these features yet, but will be able to do so in the future.

Client Portal 2.0

Client Portal 2.0 is a new XTRF Platform product designed to simplify and improve your client communication and interactions. It enables a high level of customization for project and quote requests, giving greater control over the options available to your clients. Additionally, the Client Portal 2.0 offers the following benefits:

  • An intuitive user interface, similar to our Home and Vendor Portals.

  • Better project status and request history tracking.

  • Configurable quote and project request forms.

  • Detailed quote and project displays.

  • Improved feedback functionality.

XTRF AI Copilot

Meet xaia - your first project management AI assistant in XTRF! It will save you a lot of clicking and help you with a wide range of tedious tasks, such as:

  • creating new projects and quotes, and editing existing ones.

  • analyzing and sorting projects, for example:

    • active or overdue projects.

    • projects with upcoming deadlines.

    • projects for a specific client.

    • projects with a specific ROI.

  • defining your highest priority tasks on the Home Portal.

  • invoicing your projects.

XTRF’s new look

Welcome the new XTRF logo and colors! We are changing to reflect our connection to the XTM Platform family.

The changes affect the login page and the default color scheme for the Home, Vendor, and Client Portals, and document templates.


Smart XTM Cloud integration improvements

Better management of bundle-linked jobs

  • You can now assign LSP-type vendors to bundle-linked jobs in XTRF. Such vendors will automatically be assigned to all jobs and bundles from the same document and step.

  • To prevent potential financial errors, payables for bundle-linked jobs are no longer propagated from the original job. The correct payables must be entered manually for each bundle-linked job.

  • Jobs linked to bundles with adjacent segment ranges can be merged using the new job-merging feature.

Improved job status synchronization

Non-started XTM Cloud steps are now consistently displayed as Accepted in XTRF:

  • When a new document is added to an integrated project, all jobs in XTRF will be assigned Open or Accepted status.

  • When the workflow in an XTM Cloud project is rolled back to the previous step, XTRF jobs linked to this previous step will be reverted to Started status, and the jobs linked to the next step will be set to Accepted.

Informative vendor assignment-related flash messages

No more guessing what went right or wrong with synchronizing vendor assignments! Improved system messages now list the correct and failed vendor assignments and the cause of failure.

Smart memoQ integration improvements

The way that bilingual files are handled in the Vendor Portal is now compatible with memoQ's updated requirements. XLIFF files downloaded from the Vendor Portal, for memoQ-integrated jobs, will have the .mqxliff extension, ensuring seamless reimport into memoQ projects. After bilingual documents are uploaded to the Vendor Portal, vendors will no longer receive an "undelivered document" error.


QuickBooks Online integration improvements

In response to the upcoming discontinuation of QuickBooks Online Accounting API older minor versions (1-74), XTRF now supports the Accounting API minor version 75.


Other improvements

  • Increased password length for automatically-generated passwords for archived projects and quotes.

  • The setting of a CAT tool template via the API now works correctly for memoQ- and XTM-integrated projects.

  • When multiple jobs are deleted in a Smart project, error messages now provide the exact reason for failure and list the specific jobs in which an error occurred.

  • To reduce memory usage, file processing in the Trados integration is now performed on disk.

Tasks and jobs per project limitation

E-mail attachment size limitation

E-mail attachments are now limited to a maximum size of 50 MB to improve performance and reduce memory usage.
