To set up a connection between an e-mail address and your XTRF instance, perform the following steps: 

  1. Go to the link: https://email-assistant.xtrf.eu/ 

  2. Select your email service provider.

  1. Allow the requested access.

  2. Click the Let’s go! button to proceed.

  1. Insert your XTRF’s URL (e.g., https://yourcompanyname.xtrf.eu).
    To get this URL You can also log in to your XTRF and copy the address. 

  1. Inset XTRF API token - to get the token, go to the Home Portal > top menu bar > Personal Settings > My Account > Access Tokens tab. Then, click “Edit” and “Generate”. Below the table with old tokens, you will see the text: “A new access token has just been generated: (token number)”. Copy that token and paste it in the XTRF API Access Token field in the form.

  1. Click on “Connect Instance” (or “Send”, “Prześlij”).

  2. Now you can see a status screen. Your XTRF e-mail assistant service is active.

How to disconnect XTRF from the service

If you are a user

  1. Go to https://email-assistant.xtrf.eu and login with the email address connected to the service.

  2. Scroll to the “Connected to:” card.

  3. Click “unlink?” next to the instance address:

  4. This way, no further emails will be read and sent for analysis.

  5. Repeat this process for every email account connected to the service.

If you are authorized to make decisions regarding active features on the XTRF instance

  1. Contact Helpdesk and create a request to remove the feature from your license.

  2. Action will be performed within a timeframe described in the support terms and conditions.

  3. No further emails from the accounts connected to your production XTRF will be read and no new accounts will be allowed to connect to that XTRF.

  4. This action doesn’t affect test instances.

If you want to remove the authorization for accessing your inbox 

Please follow the steps:

  1. Go to https://account.live.com/consent/Manage

  2. Find “XTRF Assistant”

  3. Click on “Edit”

  4. Click on “Remove permissions”.
