Xbench, developed by ApSIC Localization Solutions, is a third-party program for performing Quality Assurance checks and managing Terminology. Within the framework In terms of integration with the XTM Cloud system, Xbench might be perceived as an “enhancement” to a built-in the integral XTM Cloud QA module in XTM Cloud.
Each and every Every Xbench package generated from XTM Workbench that is uploaded into a program has got a number of predefined checks to spot for spotting common errors , such as inconsistencies, missing or unmodified translations, spelling errorsmistakes, mismatch in numbers or tags, deviations from key terminology, etc.

First of all, make sure you have the Xbench program installed on your device.
Next, as the Linguist assigned to that a workflow step in which you want to use Xbench, make sure there is already some translation performed on the segments that some segments have already been translated in XTM Workbench.
Next, expand select the QA drop-down dropdown and select Open Xbench.

An XBPKG file will be generated. Select a green notification at the bottom of the screen to download it.

Xbench files have the .xbpkg extension added to the name of the original source file. For example, for a file called source_file.txt, the Xbench file will have the name

Expand Select the Project dropdown from in the top ribbon bar and click Open….

Once the package is loaded, you can go to the QA tab (in Xbench) and click on Check Ongoing Translation. You will be presented with a complete list of segments (in the XTM Cloud workflow step you are working in) which contain some QA errors.

Good to know!
It is not possible to generate a single Xbench package for all the source files in a particular XTM Cloud project. It is only possible to do so for one source file at a time and then review it in the Xbench program.
