Introduction
In XTM Cloud offers uploading the so-called Reference , you can upload reference material both to XTM Cloud customers and XTM Cloud projects. In general, Reference files are usually just style guidelines for that described how to work with a particular XTM customer or detailed descriptions of XTM projects.
This article aims at showing explains how to properly upload Reference reference material in to XTM Cloud as well as and where to download them it later on.

XTM Cloud customers
In XTM Cloud, you can upload customer-specific reference files.
To do so, go to Customers → Customer list. Next, select a relevant customer.

Go to the Edit tab screen and to find the Reference material section. Upload your files in the Select files to upload option field. Do not forget to Save the changes.

This is also the only place within the XTM Cloud customer settings where you can download previously uploaded Reference material, by clicking on the context menu of for a particular Reference reference file and clicking Download.

XTM project
In the case of XTM Cloud projects, there are actually a couple of places where you can upload Reference reference material:
First of all, you can upload Reference files at At the project creation stage, in the Translation section, by means of selecting the Reference material option.

Once the project is created in XTM Cloud, you can upload Reference reference material in the Project Editor. Go to Select General info → Reference material, and upload it the reference material in the Select files to upload option. field Additionally, as in the case of the XTM Cloud Cloud customer, you can also download previously uploaded Reference reference material , by clicking on the context menu of for a particular Reference reference file and clicking Download.

IMPORTANT! Keep in mind that in all cases of downloading Reference material , whenever reference material is downloaded for an XTM Cloud project, the package contains files from BOTH the XTM Cloud project itself and the XTM Cloud customer under for which the XTM Cloud project in question has been created. ThereforeFor this reason, the package contains two sub-folders:
