XTM Clouds offers the feature of Cloud can perform AI-driven placement of inline tags in machine-translated (MT) text. In other words, the This feature only works only for projects that utilize one of the available MT engines that are available in the XTM Cloud UI.
The feature can be enabled and configured separately for each and every MT engine available in XTM Cloud. Go to Select Configuration → Settings → Translation → Machine Translation → (select an MT engine) → (scroll down to a the section for this the particular MT engine) → →select the appropriate “Use auto inline tag placement” radio button. These radio buttons are described below this figure:

How does
...
automatic inline tag placement work?
This feature uses the XTM NLP framework for the automatic placement of inline tags in the machine translation-translated text.
As you can see, there are three options (radio buttons to choose from:
Never → If you select this settingradio button, the inline tags are NOT processed by the auto-insert mechanism. XTM Cloud retains leaves the structure of the inline tags inside matches unchanged, as received from the selected MT engine.
Only incorrect inline tags → If you select this setting, the inline tags are sent to an the selected MT engine and the auto-insert mechanism only works for MT matches that have an incorrect in which the inline tag structure is incorrect, for example:
too many inline tags in a match.
missing inline tags or too few inline tags in a match.
Always → If you select this setting, after receiving the translation from MT system, the auto-insert mechanism works for is applied to all matches received in a translation from the selected MT engine.

IMPORTANT! Keep in mind that the auto inline tag placement feature is not going to will entirely solve the issue of accidental misplacement and/or removal of inline tags! Since, this This AI-driven feature is not always 100% accurate, you are obliged to so the Linguist concerned must double-check the correctness of auto-placed inline tags within in a particular target segment, and ensure that their number is consistent with the number of inline tags there are as many inline tags in the target segment as in the source segment, in XTM Workbench. |
