Connect your e-mail to the XTRF instance via Email Assistant

To set up a connection between an e-mail address and your XTRF instance, perform the following steps: 

  1. Go to the link: https://email-assistant.xtrf.eu/ 

  2. Select your email e-mail service provider.

  3. Allow the requested access. The Connect XTRF instance pop-up will appear.

  4. Click the Let’s go! button to proceed. You will be directed to the XTRF Email Assistant instance page.

    1. Go to the XTRF Home Portal > top menu bar > (blue star) > Personal Settings > My Account > Access Tokens tab.

Then, click “Edit” and “Generate”

    Now your XTRF e-mail assistant service is active. You can see the status screen.


    How to disconnect

    Disconnect your XTRF instance from the Email Assistant service

    If you are a user

    On the user level

    Disconnect your e-mail

    1. Go to https://email-assistant.xtrf.eu and login log in with the email e-mail address connected to the service.

    2. Scroll down to the “Connected Connected to:card.

    3. Click “unlinkthe unlink?button next to the instance address:

    4. (Optional) Repeat this process for every e-mail account connected to the service.

    This way, no further

    emails will be read and sent for analysis.
  • Repeat this process for every email account connected to the service.

    e-mails from the connected address will be analyzed by the Email Assistant.

    Remove the Email Assistant permission to access your inbox 

    1. Go to the https://account.live.com/consent/Manage

    2. Find XTRF Assistant

    3. Click Edit

    4. Click Remove permissions.

    If you are authorized to make decisions regarding active features on the XTRF instance

    Contact Helpdesk

    , please contact the XTRF Support and create a request to remove the

    feature

    Email Assistant service from your license.
