Introduction
You might often end up with one of sometimes have an MS Office filesfile (Word, Excel, or PowerPoint format) that has in which a specific font color has been applied to part of the text, and only that particular text with the requirement that only text in that color should be extracted for translation. You can arrange this, for translation in XTM Cloud offers such a possibility, by setting up creating a proper suitable filter in the Filter Templates module, in the XTM Cloud UI.

Instructions
To create a filter template that defines which text is to be sent off for translation, based on its font color, take the following steps.:
First of all, go to in your MS Office file and , check what which color code is has been applied to the text eligible that is due for translation in XTM Cloud. To do so, mark a highlighted text and right-click on it. Select Font color and, from the dropdown menu, select More colors….

Go to the Custom section.

Take a look at the value inserted displayed in the Hex column. This is a unique code for a particular MS Office font color. Make sure to copy Copy it to your clipboardClipboard.

Then create a proper suitable filter template. In XTM Cloud, go to Configuration → Filter templates → (select a the level at which you would like to set up this filter template) → Add configuration.

In the File type section, select a relevant the MS Office extension for which you want to set up create this filter template. Then, in the Translate section, select the Only text in font color parameter and paste the unique color code that you copied in step 3. above into the Hex field. Finally, click the Save and add configuration button.

You should get see a confirmation message that your filter was created successfully.
