Some of the settings of the Trados Studio project templates can be overwritten by the settings configured in XTRF.
Those settings can be found in 
Configuration menu > Projects and Quotes > Workflow Definitions (Classic) > Workflow Definition page > CAT Tools tab > Project Creation subtab and Machine Translation subtab.
