Connect your e-mail to the XTRF instance
To set up a connection between an e-mail address and your XTRF instance, perform the following steps:
Go to the link: https://email-assistant.xtrf.eu/
Select your email e-mail service provider.

Image AddedClick the Let’s go! button to proceed. You will be directed to the XTRF Email Assistant instance page.

Provide your
XTRF URL (e.g., https://yourcompanyname.xtrf.eu).
💡 To get
the XTRF URL, log in to your XTRF in another tab and copy the address.
Provide the XTRF API
Access Token. To get the token,
perform the following steps:
Go to the XTRF Home Portal > top menu bar > Personal Settings > My Account > Access Tokens tab
.
Click the Edit button.
Click the Generate button. Below the table
displaying the old tokens,
the A new access token has just been generated
section will appear,followed by the token number
.

number and paste it
to the XTRF API Access Token field in the XTRF Email Assistant form.
Note: Check the Generate an access token for the Home Portal API article for more details.
Click
the Submit button.
Note: The button can be named differently, depending on your browser settings.
Now your XTRF e-mail assistant service is active. You can see the status screen.
How to disconnect
Disconnect your XTRF instance from the Email Assistant service
If you are a userOn the user level
Disconnect your e-mail
Go to https://email-assistant.xtrf.eu and login log in with the email e-mail address connected to the service.
Scroll down to the “Connected Connected to:” card.
Click “unlinkthe unlink?” button next to the instance address:

This way, no further
emailse-mails will be read and sent for analysis.

Remove the Email Assistant permission to access your inbox
For Google (Gmail, GSuite), follow this instruction: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/3466521?hl=en
For Microsoft (Outlook, Office365), perform the following steps:
Go to the https://account.live.com/consent/Manage
Find XTRF Assistant
Click Edit
Click Remove permissions.
On the company level
If you are authorized to make decisions regarding active features on the XTRF instance
Contact, please contact the XTRF Helpdesk and create a request to remove the
featureEmail Assistant service from your license.
ActionThis action will be performed within a timeframe described in the support terms and conditions.
No further
e-mails from the accounts connected to your production XTRF will be read, and no new accounts will be allowed to connect to that XTRF.
